Danielle's Bio
My name is Danielle, I am 21 years old and I live in Brandon Florida. I am originally from New York where I lived until I was 18 years old. After we moved my life changed 100%! My Dad died 16 days after we got to Florida. I was a Daddy's girl. My Mother and I never got along, however, my Dad and I had such a strong bond. My Grandma Faye was my best friend. She died a few months after my Dad. Then, a few months after that, my Mom got remarried. Very few of my friends in NY kept in touch. I found myself in a strange place, and very lost. Everything I knew for 18 years was gone. I had to go out and start working right away without being able to properly grieve over my Dad. I was working as a Preschool Teacher while contemplating getting back into the music industry.
I decided to go to school for Broadcasting. I interned at a radio station for a few months while in school. When I finished with school, I interviewed with a major radio station, and I got the job! Now that I was back doing something with the music industry, I felt the need to create Be a Butterfly.
I know from my own experiences, life can be difficult sometimes. I truly believe that girls need a safe place to turn to, especially for advice, and need to know they are not alone. I have found a way to accomplish some of my dreams while enduring life's pitfalls. I invite you into this safe haven where you will get answers to your questions and advice from those who have likely been there.
